BLDC Ceiling Fan Motor Line for a Fan Manufacturer
A fan maker moving from induction to BLDC motors needs a complete line from bare stator to tested motor.
The challenge
- The team had experience only with induction fan motors and no BLDC process knowledge.
- Floor space was limited to the existing fan assembly hall.
- Management wanted to start at moderate volume and add automation later without rebuilding the line.
Our solution
We planned a semi-automatic line on a pallet conveyor. Stators are needle wound on a multi-station winder and checked on a stator tester. Rotor cups are bonded, magnetized and balanced in a parallel cell. Final assembly, controller fitting and end-of-line testing complete the flow, with every motor labelled with a serial number.
What the project was designed to deliver
- A repeatable BLDC process that operators could learn quickly
- Testing at the stator and final motor stages to stop defects early
- Space left in the layout for robotic loading in a later phase

Machines used in this project
Multi-Station BLDC Stator Winding Machine
Indexing table winder with 2 to 4 spindles that winds one set of stators while the operator loads the next.
VIEW MACHINE →Stator Winding Tester
Tests resistance, insulation, hipot and surge on wound stators before assembly.
VIEW MACHINE →Magnet Bonding and Glue Dispensing Machine
Dispenses metered adhesive and places magnets in external-rotor cups and SPM rotors.
