Inner Stator Winding and Insulation for Appliance Motors
An appliance motor maker needs to wind and insulate compact inner-rotor stators at volume.
The challenge
- Narrow slot openings made winding and paper insertion difficult.
- Insulation defects were found only at final test.
- Varnish dipping was messy and slow.
Our solution
We combined slot paper inserting, inner stator needle winding, wedge inserting and trickle impregnation into one flow, with a stator tester before impregnation to catch winding faults early.
What the project was designed to deliver
- Reliable insulation in every slot
- Winding faults caught before impregnation
- Clean, controlled resin application
